Maintain Quality and Care as Our Facilities Supervisor

As our Facilities Supervisor, you will ensure that AUS buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained, compliant, and supportive of the school’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of facilities, including maintenance, and groundskeeping
Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas meet high standards of safety, and functionality
Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and Ministry of Education standards
Manage vendor and contractor relationships, monitoring performance and cost-effectiveness
Supervise facilities staff, providing direction, training, and performance feedback
Support budget development, track expenditures, and recommend cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities or operations management (school or institutional setting is a plus)
Strong knowledge of building systems and preventative maintenance practices
Proven leadership and team supervision skills in a multicultural environment
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Fluency in English (Arabic skills are an advantage)
